Retired. Stan Meresman was a professional Independent Director, Audit Committee Chair, advisor & mentor. He advised CEOs & CFOs on preparing to become a public reporting company, IPO process, operating as a public company, and scaling the growth of the company, and governance. He is a "financial expert” as defined by the SEC rules. Formerly a Board Member and Chair of Audit Committee at DoorDash (DASH), Snap (SNAP), Cloudflare (NET), Guardant Health (GH), Medallia (MDLA), LinkedIn (LNKD), Palo Alto Networks (PANW), Zynga (ZNGA), Riverbed Technology (RVBD), and Polycom (PLCM).

Stan had been General Partner and COO of Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), a venture capital firm focused on late-stage growth technology companies.

Stan was a past CFO for ten years of two NYSE-listed companies: Silicon Graphics (SGI) where revenue grew to $4 billion, and Cypress Semiconductor (CY) which he took public.

As a board member and Chair of the Audit Committee, he had board oversight responsibility for taking nine companies public (DoorDash, Cloudflare, Snap, Guardant Health, Medallia, LinkedIn, Zynga, Riverbed Technology, Polycom).


Stan received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.

Stan has given his time back to the community as past president of the board of Financial Executives Institute (Silicon Valley), Family Service Mid-Peninsula (Palo Alto), Monterey Peninsula Country Club (MPCC), Carmel Sunset Community Center (SCC), and board member of Castilleja School (Palo Alto). He is currently on the board of The Panetta Institute for Public Policy (Monterey).

Stan is enjoying time traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
